Description
High school girl Sora Ueno lives in a small mountain village but has never truly felt at home there. The only person she could open her heart to was her childhood friend, Hinako. However, on the night of the Minazuki Festival, Hinako mysteriously vanished. The villagers all claimed it was a “kamikakushi” — a divine abduction — and made little effort to search for her.
Years passed, and in 1988, Hinako suddenly returned… exactly as she was four years ago. Having “come back” from a kamikakushi, Hinako is met with fear and disdain from the villagers, slowly becoming isolated. Determined to protect her no matter what, Sora stays by her side — but unsettling mysteries surrounding the village and Hinako’s disappearance begin to surface…
