On the first day of high school, determined to make friends and enjoy a fun school life, he experiences a fateful encounter with Kozuru Shimohoshizaki—who slips on a banana peel right in front of him!

Though things often go hilariously off-track, Shikaoka is moved by Kozuru’s sincere effort and the fact that she doesn’t judge him by his appearance. Could this be the beginning of a genuine friendship?
