Description

During the Meiji era, in the port town of Niigata,
a young British girl named Will arrived in Japan.

She came with her father for his work,
but she couldn't stand the smell of fish and had trouble eating since arriving…

Frustrated and anxious in this unfamiliar land,
she meets a blunt Japanese young man named Ryusaku.
He turns out to be a traditional Japanese chef!

Unable to tolerate Will’s complaints about fish,
Ryusaku decides to cook a Japanese dish that will leave her speechless…!?

This is the story of a British girl and a young Japanese chef,
who discover the town and its people through local food.
