Description

High school student Kindaichi Hajime - frequently accompanied by childhood friend and (future) love interest, Nanase Miyuki - travels to various places where baffling and convoluted murders have taken place, which he then proceeds to solve thanks to a combination of brilliant deductive skills, talent at performing and figuring out magic tricks, and plain ol good luck.

Winner of the Kodansha Manga Award for shounen (1995).
